Five Culture Pillars
At GCommerce, culture isn’t just a buzzword - it’s the heartbeat of everything we do. Rooted in collaboration, creativity, and a genuine passion for hospitality, our culture empowers team members to thrive both personally and professionally.
Flexibility
We recognize that life doesn’t operate on a 9-to-5 schedule, and neither should we. Whether it’s attending a child’s school event, prioritizing mental health, or chasing powder on the mountain, we trust our team to manage their time in ways that support both their personal and professional well-being. Flexibility at GCommerce isn’t just a policy—it’s a mindset that values people over rigid processes. The result? A happier, more productive team that consistently delivers for our clients.
Work hard, have fun
We believe exceptional work comes from teams that are engaged, energized, and genuinely enjoy working together. Yes, we hustle—but we balance that intensity with levity. From virtual trivia nights and themed Slack channels to annual retreats and surprise celebrations, we make space to laugh, connect, and recharge. These moments of joy strengthen our bonds and fuel the collaboration that makes our work exceptional.
Do the right thing
Doing the right thing means more than checking a box—it’s about leading with empathy, acting with integrity, and showing up for one another every day. We celebrate each other’s wins, support one another in tough moments, and operate with transparency and respect. Our commitment to doing the right thing also drives us to engage meaningfully with our communities and causes we believe in.
A key part of this effort is our Equity & Advocacy Team, a volunteer-led group dedicated to fostering inclusion, creating educational opportunities, and ensuring that every voice is heard and valued at GCommerce. We believe business can, and should, be a force for good, both within our walls and beyond them.
Excellence & efficiency
At GCommerce, excellence is not about perfection—it’s about progress, discipline, and drive. We equip every team member with the tools, support, and feedback needed to grow their skills and reach their goals. Our performance reviews are not about judgment; they’re about alignment and opportunity. And by embracing efficient processes and smart use of time, we ensure that excellence doesn’t come at the cost of burnout. It’s how we continue to raise the bar for ourselves and our clients.
Growth
Growth at GCommerce happens on every level—from the clients we serve to the careers we nurture. New clients bring exciting challenges and innovation; new services expand what’s possible for our team and partners. We welcome new hires with thoughtful onboarding and provide consistent learning opportunities to help every team member level up. And we value feedback at every stage of the journey, including exit interviews, because growth also comes from listening, evolving, and getting better together.

Non-profit work
While GCommerce is primarily a hospitality-based agency, we’re excellent marketers across the board and like to volunteer our expertise wherever possible. The company offers various opportunities to participate in non-profit work, supporting the causes that our team members believe in.
Peace House
Committed to ending family violence and abuse, Peace House provides safe housing, education, outreach, and support services, including a 24/7 helpline, victim advocacy, and clinical therapy. Peace House was founded in 1992 following a tragic domestic violence incident, leading to the establishment of a volunteer-run shelter in 1995, which has since evolved into a state-licensed facility with professional staff. In 2019, the facility expanded with a Community Campus offering transitional housing, childcare, and programs to foster healthy relationships and independence. GCommerce supports Peace House and their mission by creating Facebook ads for community events and fundraisers, managing Paid Search campaigns, and providing Search Engine Optimization services.
Summit Pride
Summit Pride is a non-profit organization formed by the Park City Municipal to evaluate and address the needs of local residents, focusing on LGBTQ+ inclusivity. GCommerce has supported their formation and awareness in a number of ways, such as developing their logo, designing event flyers, and assisting with their website.
Founder's day
Founder’s Day at GCommerce Solutions is a special annual event held every year on June 14th, dedicated to giving back to the local community. This tradition encourages employees to take the day off to participate in community service projects, support local charities, and engage in social impact initiatives.
Past volunteer efforts have included supporting organizations like Mammoth Lakes Recreation & Trail Association, San Antonio Parks and Recreation, Sisters Trail Alliance, and the Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri. By volunteering and contributing to meaningful causes, employees make a positive difference while embodying the core values on which the company was built.
And more to come!
The Equity & Advocacy Team
In 2022, GCommerce formed the Equity & Advocacy Team, a group of volunteers aiming to further promote inclusivity and team member satisfaction at the company.
All team members at GCommerce are entitled to safety, respect, and fulfillment at their jobs, which is the underlying principle of the Equity & Advocacy Team. Along with the more traditional Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) efforts seen at other companies, the GCommerce Equity & Advocacy Team also works to improve the workplace as a whole, aiming for a sense of belonging and fulfillment for every single employee.
This group of volunteers, with participation and support from GCommerce executives, meets bi-weekly to identify the company’s sore spots and provide initiatives to improve, develop educational content to further our team’s understanding of diverse cultures and peoples, and grow on an individual level through discussions about personal experiences and DEI topics.View the “Diversity, Equity & Inclusion” section of the GCommerce blog for more information on the Equity & Advocacy Team, including yearly impact reports, as well as some general education on topics related to DEI.
The GCommerce golden rules
During the formation of the Equity & Advocacy Team, GCommerce decided on a set of “golden rules” to ensure professional and respectful communication throughout the company. These golden rules of discussion are as follows:
- All perspectives deserve respect
Very few things are “right” and “wrong” in every single context, and everyone deserves a chance to be heard. - No one knows everything
Everyone comes from different backgrounds, with a different level of exposure to various issues. There’s no shame in not knowing something – we’re all learning together. - Everyone makes mistakes
No one is perfect, and mistakes are just that – mistakes. Use them as an education opportunity, but don’t dwell on them.
