Vice President, Business Development

What You’ll Do:
Business Development Strategy:

- Be a key player in shaping sales strategy alongside the GCommerce sales team and Brand Marketing Team.

- Partner with the Brand Marketing Team to leverage content marketing for sales prospecting campaigns.

- Bring your creative ideas and expertise to the table, contributing to the achievement of GCommerce’s ambitious sales goals.

- Collaborate with leadership to implement sales strategies that drive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

- Take charge of Hubspot execution to enhance automation strategies, ensuring smooth sales operations.
Sales Prospecting & Business Development:

- Own the end-to-end sales process, from identifying new prospects to closing deals, aligning with strategic goals for both GCommerce and Metadesk.

- Maintain and manage your sales prospecting pipeline, working closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to keep opportunities up-to-date and organized.

- Drive new business development with compelling presentations and strategic milestone communications in collaboration with key stakeholders.

- Build and nurture relationships with prospects, industry partners, and existing clients, contributing to contract renewals and long-term success.

- Stay active in industry conferences and sales events, showcasing GCommerce’s capabilities while expanding your professional network.
Leadership & Training:

- Play a pivotal role in onboarding and training our Sales Development Representatives, ensuring they are set up for success from day one.

- Collaborate on the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflow processes to streamline team operations.

- Support and guide the SDRs and Sales Managers with email template creation, campaign scheduling, and target list development.

- Work with leadership to set SDR quotas and ensure that all team members are aligned on goals and expectations.
HubSpot CRM Administration:

- Become the Super Administrator of HubSpot, mastering all aspects of the platform to streamline sales prospecting, automation, and reporting.

- Continuously develop HubSpot processes, building a seamless experience for the sales team that empowers data-driven decision-making.

- Manage email templates, prospect records, and client data to ensure effective, personalized outreach and communication.

- Provide insights through detailed reporting on business development activities and contribute to the evolution of GCommerce’s growth strategy.
What You’ll Bring:

- Proven experience in business development or sales leadership, preferably in a high-growth environment.

- Strong ability to lead end-to-end sales processes, with a strategic mindset and a track record of driving results.

- Experience working in the hospitality industry selling digital marketing solutions.

- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms and a desire to innovate and improve processes.

- A passion for coaching and developing sales teams to reach their full potential.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
